Terms of service

Effective 15 October 2026. Draft for review by counsel before public launch.

1. The service

BoreWatch provides a software engine that runs on the customer's computers and a web application for viewing the engine's output. The service is licensed per organisation for the period paid for.

2. Licence

One licence covers one organisation, one engine installation per active rig, and the number of named users and add-on modules shown on the order. Credentials must not be shared outside the organisation. The customer may install the engine on any number of its own computers.

3. Customer data

All drilling, geological and other data processed by the engine remain the customer's property and stay on the customer's systems. When sync is enabled, the service stores only encrypted objects that the provider cannot decrypt. The provider processes account data (organisation name, user emails, licence state, audit log) solely to operate the service.

4. Payment and renewal

Fees are charged in advance for each monthly or annual period. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date. Trials end automatically. Taxes are added where applicable. Refunds are given for the unused part of an annual period on written request within 30 days of a price or feature change that materially reduces the service.

5. Suspension and termination

After the paid period the dashboard stays readable for 7 days, after which sign-in is refused. The provider may suspend accounts for non-payment, chargebacks or misuse. Either party may terminate at the end of the current period.

6. Availability and support

Target availability of the web application is 99.5 % monthly. Support is by email on working days; priority support is an add-on. The engine works offline; the web application depends on the customer's internet access.

7. Warranty and liability

The service is a monitoring and visualisation aid. Drilling decisions remain the customer's responsibility. Except for wilful misconduct, the provider's liability is limited to the fees paid in the preceding 12 months. No liability is accepted for indirect or consequential loss, including rig downtime.

8. Changes

These terms may be updated with 30 days' notice by email. Continued use after the notice period constitutes acceptance.

9. Governing law

To be specified by the operating entity (Indonesia or Singapore) before public launch.
